Facing Difficult Times

We all face difficult times in our lives. The loss of a loved one. Sickness or disease in our body. Transitions in our job or career. Uncertainty about the future. Dreams yet unfulfilled.

Four principles that continue to help me face and rise above difficult times in my life ... 1) Trust in the Lord (Proverbs 3:4-6) Tell Him honestly what I am afraid of and surrender it to Him.  2) Don't lose today by worrying about tomorrow 3) Surround myself with people who love, lift, and encourage me 4) Cultivate a thankful attitude - forgetting what is wrong in my life and focusing on what is right in God!

God has promised He would be with us in trouble and that He would never leave us! He is here and He knows what we are facing in our lives. It's up to us to let Him in to our situation ... to let Him be with us and help us!
