Last evening while I was reading something a friend had written, I was reminded that when dealing with challenging times in my life my response has often been one of two extremes. I would either say or do nothing because I was afraid of saying or doing the wrong thing or I would offer to help in ways that weren't what the person wanted, needed or was even asking for. God has been teaching me to let His love lead me in these times.
You see, God is love and He knows what we need and when we need it...He understands and cares about us and what we are dealing with. He has a plan for each of our lives and by trusting Him we allow Him to work His plan in us and through us.
When we allow love to lead...love will always find a way to bring just what is needed ... when it is needed ... in the way it can be received. It is so rewarding to be used by Him in this way to help those we love and care about!
